I love music and writing, so this is my attempt at making a reputable blog that combines the two.
My rating scale is as follows:
1: Offensive
1.5: Absolutely terrible
2: Poor
2.5: Average
3: Good
3.5: Great
4: Excellent
4.5: Superb
5: Perfect
I understand that I'm never going to get to review every critically received album each year, but I'm at least going to try cover every genre and the albums that I've been looking forward to. Because of this, I should rarely give out scores below a 2.5.
On an unrelated note, look out for the "bestnewmusic" tag on my posts. This tag is a selective grade of an album/song which I believe is worthy of recognition. All posts that are labeled as this tag are archived under the Best New Music page.
