This one's really impressive. Sun Kil Moon, the solo project of singer-songwriter Mark Kozelek (of Red House Painters fame) makes incredibly intricate and beautiful sounding folk rock. His guitar skills aren't just chords though, to he honest, this isn't your standard folk album. It's technically superb and incredibly deserving.
